I took Hydracodon, the generic for Vikadin when I had an oral frenectomy and my wisdom teeth removed.. The Vikadin did little to no help when it got really painful (throughout the 1st 3 days).. Ice was the only thing that really helped, and if i used too much Ice it would get too cold and hurt worse.. Basically the pain pills didn't do much of anything..Health Question & Answer
