Difference Between PN and LPN?!

Question: Difference Between PN and LPN.?

What is the different between a PN and LPN.? I know one just has a diploma and one has a license but....is the pay different or anything to that extent different.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:

There's no difference between them.. A GPN is a graduate practical nurse that has not received their license.. The pay is normally a couple of dollars lower than a LPN..

A PN is just a practical nurse and LPN is a licensed practical nurse = One in the same.. You can't be a practical nurse without a license, unless your a GPN (that hasn't taken the NCLEX yet)..

Some people just say PN instead of LPN.. It means the same thing..
