to make your body numb, I'd advise you to cool down you body..
This can be done, by taking a very long and very cold bath (ice cubes can help a lot..)
If their are serten parts of your body that are not numb enough, take ice cubes and rub them (slowly) on the area..
I did this one when I had a very painful experience with my hand, and it helped to stop the pain..
