It's possible that it may be a kidney infection.. Are you having any signs of a urinary tract infection.? (burning, frequency, pain) Usually when patients come in with lower back pain on one side, it has something to do with the kidneys.. It could also just be a pulled muscle! I'm sorry to hear that.. It sounds to me like appendicitis.. The Appendix is a useless organ that can be removed quickly.. but if it's not the side but the back, that's the kidneys.. like everyone else said: see a doctor..Health Question & Answer
