How should I take care of a sore muscle (quadriceps)?!
Question: How should I take care of a sore muscle (quadriceps).?
Yesterday, I walked up a lot of stairs, way more than usual (about 6 flights more than usual) and now today my quadriceps in both legs are extremely sore constantly. They hurt when I sit down, they hurt when I walk, they hurt when I stand up, they even hurt when I'm just laying down. So I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor, but also what I can do to nurse the sore muscles in the meantime. I've been icing them and took some advil and so far no relief at all. you don't need to see a doctor go see a massage therapist & in stand of putting ice on your muscle, put heat. Since their not swollen or bleeding you want the bleed to circulate. Watch is going to help your muscles. & the massage therapist is going to be a lot cheaper than the doctor. Some where like $60 it depends on where you live. try that Health Question & Answer
