Question: My Mum has a constant pain in her right pectoral muscle (Lower shoulder muscle, on the chest) Please help.?!.?
My mum keep on getting this pain in her Pectoral muscle. She has been to the doctors and he thinks that shes just pulled a muscle but she hasn't. We think it might be trapped wind, but i think it might be something to do with her heart. Please can someone offer some genuine advice please.?.? Thanks! Health Question & Answer

Calm down everyone ! If the pain comes and goes, its not a heart attack. It could be angina pain if it goes away with rest. Go get a second opinion if your not satisfied with the initial diagnosis, however, dont tell the Dr what the first Dr thought it could be, they will probably just agree without doing any further investigation, Hope she feels better soon !Health Question & Answer
Dose she have any of the following symptoms at the same time Crushing pain like a tight band around your chest.
Pain which moves to your jaw or left arm.
Feeling sick.
Sweating heavily.
Short of breath.
Feeling faint.?

recently my wife had similar pain with a similar initial
diagnosis,she saw a different Doctor who took blood tests
it appeared she had an infection in her lungs and needed
antibiotics to clear.Seek a second opinion.and don't worry !Health Question & Answer
