Why do u bandage a chest wound tightly and a stomach wound loosely?!

Question: Why do u bandage a chest wound tightly and a stomach wound loosely.?
Answers:
The chest wound is wound tight because your heart is right there continuing to pump blood so it takes longer for the bleeding to stop. the stomach wounds are not wound tight because you intestines are right there and you don't want to put a kink in them or push them up into your abdomen. you just add pressure directly to the opening of that wound plus you tend to clot faster right there. I hope this helps. Health Question & Answer
