Answers:
During pregnancy the pressure inside the veins in your legs is more from what it used to be due to the larger volume of blood in the body. The pregnancy hormone progesterone causes blood vessels to relax. This causes an increase in varicose veins during pregnancy, especially on the dependant parts of the body like the legs and thighs, although there are varicose veins on other parts of your body. Sometimes it gets painful and this happens when the veins pool in with blood.

Swimming helps and wearing support stockings, if your feeling actual numbness, it might be a good idea to see your GP. You haven't got long in your pregnancy to go, you may find once you finish your pregnancy, symptoms will greatly improve.Health Question & Answer

There are alot of herbs to help with this, women have needed to take them for centuaries for this complaint but go and see a herbalist or homeopath, as she will have to look at the whole of you. try and find one thats works with Vogel. This is not uncommon so relax, go for a walk and find someone who can help you.Health Question & Answer

A lot of pressure is being carried on that part of your body, some times the baby lays in a space to be on top of your nerves. After the baby comes out it should get better, but see your doctor soon so he can make a clear diagnose for you! :)Health Question & Answer

I had this with my 3rd pregnancy. Impossible to put my feet up much with 2 active toddlers!
Wore support hose and the whole lot miraculously cleared up when my baby was born.
No problems since.Health Question & Answer
