Its prolly not a good idea. The whole idea of your doc prescribing you that dose of hydro is because thats what is right for you. Even though youve been taking them for a month, it could still cause complications. Not a good ideaHealth Question & Answer

you will probably be fine because you know your not allergic, you would have to take more than that to od,
but you may injure your back taking more pain meds. than ness. can mask the pain and future pain, because you don't feel it you make worse.codine based rxs usualy make you wired and if you dont feel what your body is tellin you and go work too hard.
i would call the dr. and see if would fax you in a stronger mg. like 10s
remeber not to drink or mix other meds not to mention take for an extended time(addictive),dont take too muchHealth Question & Answer

Don't take anything but the recommended dosage prescribed to you. If your pain is not being properly managed go back and speak to your doctor or find a pain management clinic. You deserve to be as pain free as possible. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

It should be ok but you don't want to take over 4000 mg in a day. That's when it becomes deadly.Health Question & Answer
