Well earlier today I fell down in sandish dirt (a hybrid between the two haah) and well basically I scraped my knee pretty badly. So I cleaned it with alcohol, but the bandage my teacher gave me was too small so I just put toilet paper on top of it (stupid idea). When I took off the toilet paper it was kinda stuck. So I get a bigger band aid and put it on til I get home. Once I get home I clean my wound with hydrogen peroxide and put another band aid on it, and right now I take off my band aid anc change clothes and notice this white gunk coming out of my scrape now. Dont worry about it just yet. Thats a fairly common occurence in an open wound so soon after it happens. You might get some white pussy nasty stuff coming out for up to 24 hours. Dont worry about infections just yet. If it continues to do that for a few days or if the puss turns into any yellow or greenish color, then go ahead and get to the doctors so they can start you on some antibiotics. sometimes peroxide can stay in the cut and stain it white or you have an infection. Clean it, then use antibiotic cream to stop the infection.Health Question & Answer
It's probably just paper from the toilet paper. Wash it with warm water and soap, don't use peroxide. Health Question & Answer
