Treating a Cramped Muscle?!

Question: Treating a Cramped Muscle.?
i frequently get severe muscle cramps in my left calf, especially when playing sports like football and swimming, and also when im walking long distances..which is pretty much every day.Aspirin and Paracetemol haven't been very helpful at getting rid of,or at least reducing the pain.I've tried stretching the muscle beforehand so I'm not exercising with a 'cold muscle',but this hasn't really helped.Any tips or ideas about what might be causing it.? Thanks :]Health Question & Answer

I think the cramps could be due to you exercising way too much (walking long distance everyday).

Or it could be a lack of fluids, something like a mild dehydration.

When you're dehydrated, the decline in your body mass, blood volume and plasma volume leads to muscle cramping.

There could be other causes. Read all of them here: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/what-...Health Question & Answer
