Question: My doc wrote a script for my mom that says ASA ; QD . I know QD is once a day. Is ASA aspirin.?

IThe rest of the medicines were spelled out except for this and I find nothing like it in the pdr.It also say 81mg, which is the right mg for an aspirin. Do you know of ASA to stand for anything else.?Health Question & Answer

I can't say myself, but did you ask the doctor who wrote the prescription.? Or, when you go to get it filled, ask the pharmacy tech/pharmacist. They have to know what all the codes mean in order to fill and label it properly, after all.Health Question & Answer
