Dangers of mixing alcohol and tylenol?!

Question: Dangers of mixing alcohol and tylenol.?
I've been sick the past few days, and took some tylenol at 7am and 3pm yesterday. Last night, I had a bit of a wild time, and drank a lot. I don't drink often, really only this past weekend and the two before it.

Do I have anything to worry about as far as the dangers of mixing tylenol and alcohol.? I'm currently in a foreign country, so its not exactly easy to just go to a doctor and ask this one.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
The danger of mixing alcohol and acetaminophen (Tylenol) is that they are just so hard on your liver. It is recommended that you never mix the two. You'll be okay this time, but next time you will know better.

I don't think you did any irreversible damage, but let me caution you that 1) Alcohol negatively affects your liver (cirrhosis anyone.?) and 2)Tylenol, taken in excess of the recommended doses can actually kill your liver.

You can take Advil as it does not hurt your liver, however do eat something before you take it as it will tear up your stomach if you don't.Health Question & Answer

yes, you do. don't mix acetmenaphen with alchohol. it is very destuctive to your liver. especially if you have had hepatitus or hep c. tylenol has a large amount of acetimenaphen , consult your home doctor when you get back to the states. Health Question & Answer
