Nyquil- expired september 2008-- i feel worse than when i started?!

Question: Nyquil- expired september 2008-- i feel worse than when i started.?
i had a really bad runny nose, fever, cough, headache..
your all over cold.
so i took two nyquil (the reccomended dose) which was supposed to expire this month.. i thought itd be fine, considering i take motrin up to a few months late and it's still fine.
but now i feel almost worse than i started. i've been having really bad diarrhea and i feel SOOOOOOOOOOOO nauseous, and my throat still kills from swallowing those stupid things (almost 50 min ago) and my headache is still here.. my nose however, is no longer stuffed up.

did taking this almost expired nyquil cause these effects.? if so what should i do now.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
sorry to say but its all in your head. the body loves to play and tricks and because u were aware of the fact that the medication was set to expire this month, ur pain triggered the "omg panic" so the symptoms you are having would of happened wheather or not if you took the medication. Just let it run its course and if by the weekend you don't feel better, see your dr.Health Question & Answer

You can actually keep on taking expired medication a couple of weeks after the date of expiration so taking that medication did not make you worst. It sounds like those are symptoms that should be diagnosed by a doctor.Health Question & Answer

you should be fine, but if it really bothers you there should be either a 1-800 number or a website on the box where you can call and find out for sure Health Question & Answer
