Don't sit for more than 2 hours at a time, for the sake of your bum (on padded seat) and for the sake of your eyes. That's the norm. make sure you sit with back straight, feet flat on the floor (or on a book) thighs level with the floor, with the screen centre lower than your mouth (so you are looking slightly downwards (15deg)
