Scar from Stitches on my arm?!

Question: Scar from Stitches on my arm.?
I had a mole removed at the doctor's office on my arm and had stitches put in during august. I'm pretty sure it should have healed by now, but the scar is like raised skin and it's hard to the touch, and it has a reddish pigment. Darker skin kind of outlines it and I'm worried that somewhere something has gone wrong with the healing process. Could it be something to do with the hair follicles.? Please answer if you can!Health Question & Answer

Just let it heal and don't touch it. Scars can take a long time to heal. And if there's some still there even after time and scar gel, then you may just have to deal. Arms aren't that bad. Believe me. I have scars in places you really don't want scars... really. Health Question & Answer

Scars take a WHILE to go away. If you still have a scar after six months, chances are your surgeon messed up. How long has it been since the operation.?Health Question & Answer
