Question: Help.? I've got cheerleader strain...remedies.?
I'm a Varsity cheerleader and recently we have been trying some really extreme stunting. Our pops are higher, are stunts quicker, and the pain tripled! Any at home remedies I can try to reduce my pain levels.?

The pain is in my shoulders, wrists, and thighs. I don't understand it -- we have practice 3 times a week, we run a mile before practice each day, I stretch out like no other, and I have been stunting with my squad since probably 7th grade and I have had no recent weight gain or loss. What's changed.? How can I cure this -- it REALLY hurts!

Answers:
Maybe you pulled some muscles.? Stunting can be very difficult on your muscles, I should know, I'm a cheerleader as well.

**You should relax a little on the stunting for a few days or until your pain level goes down.
**2-3 ibuprofen a day should help with the achy pains, and using some ice on area's of more extreme pain should relieve some of it.
**Calm achy joints with warm bubble baths and warm cloths.
**also, get some extra sleep! Sounds like you need it, girl!

well take yoga,meaning maybe you need to stretch all the time instead of when everybody is together.and try putting some ice in your bath to take down some of the swelling.Health Question & Answer
