Question: How good at math and chemistry do I have to be to become an anesthesiologist.?
do you do alot of math in your head or write out equations to figure out how much medicine to give, and what kind of math do you use.?.?.? What subjects do you have to take to be an anesthesiologist.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Most of the math we do is in our heads. Occasionally, we might write out some numbers to figure allowable blood loss in a kid, or something like that.

The math we use is pretty basic, algebra at the most advanced, but we HAVE to be precise. If the decimal point is off, we could kill someone.

To be an anesthesiologist, you need a medical degree just like any other physician (medical school is 4 years of intense study after graduating from college) Then we do 4 years of anesthesia residency.Health Question & Answer
