Question: Severe migraines and back pain, could there be more to it.?

I have had horrible migraines for years now but over the years they continue to get worse. Each migraine they are more Intense and last longer. Ive had some that last for a week or more. They have been so bad recently that i am unable to open my eyes. I try everything, tylenol, Ibuprofen extra strength and nothing helps. I have also noticed when i get these migraines my back along my spine hurts. I also get frequent random pains in the same spot on my head. Is this just a case of really bad migraines or could it be something else.?Health Question & Answer

It could absolutely be something more serious. If you haven't been to a medical doctor regarding this, then that is your first step. If you haven't been to a medical doctor since it started getting worse, then this is your second step.

Rule Out Any Emergency/Serious Medical Situation First.

If you have been to your MD, and they are simply diagnosing it as migraines, then I would recommend seeing a board certified acupuncturist in your area. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are often very effective ways to treat migraines, and associated symptoms.Health Question & Answer
