Question: I use ibuprofen to help me get to sleep, is this bad.?
Sometimes when I cant get to sleep I take ibuprofen because it makes my body feel really relaxed and not tense. I'm not overdosing but I'm not exactly using it correctly, is this sensible or no.? I'm 16.Health Question & Answer

Ibuprofen is not sedating so unless you have pain that the ibuprofen is reducing to allow you to sleep, this is probably a placebo effect.

The biggest worry is that at bedtime you will typically have an empty stomach. Chronic ibuprofen use will leave you prone to stomach ulcers...esp. when taken on an empty stomach. Health Question & Answer
