Well how high is his fever.? How fast is he breathing.? personally if he is asleep I would leave him alone. However if you are concerned by all means take him to the doctor. Even if it is nothing, it is at least worth the piece of mind knowing he is okay. good luck and I hope he feels better soon.Health Question & Answer

Wake him up and take him to the emergency room immediately hon or urgent care if such facility is available where you are. You need to get his fever under control. Honestly, as a parent that is what I have done in the past when my son had fevers that would not break and seemed in distress and I've never regreted going. Please take care. I hope everything turns out okay. Health Question & Answer
