Answers:
If there are no motor neurons in his quadriceps, his muscle tone (ie, the messages the nervous system contantly sends to muscles to keep them in decent shape) will suffer, and even excercise will not be enough to help.Health Question & Answer

If there was damage to the motor neurons then there is still a partial path for the synapses to get through. It doesn't always get though because of the damage it is random synapses which create muscle spasms. They can attempt surgery but there is not much they can do. He might just be put on nerve deadners to stop the uncomfortable spasming. Good luckHealth Question & Answer
