Why does getting off an?!

Because when you started that antidepressant you didn't notice or forgot that you lost about 5% about of your weight. So that weight comes back when you quit the med.
If you get depressed again, be sure to ask the doctor for an antidepressant that won't make you gain weight. There are lots of them. :)Health Question & Answer
