Could this have been the source of my headache?!

Question: Could this have been the source of my headache.?
I had a continuous headache for a long time. Today I pulled my multi-vitamin bottle down to see what the expiration date was. It was Aug 07! could this have been the source of my headaches.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Probably a good source of your headaches because they are expired, but also note that a lot of the vitamins in a multivitamin people have reactions to and they don't know which one is the problem because there are so many. I don't know why you take a multivitamin, you probably don't need them, so I would throw those away. Why not just get a blood test done and see where the important levels like Iron, Sodium, Magnesium, Calcium to name a few, actually are and go from there. Don't listen to he advertisements, they are in the business to make money, yours and millions of other people. Wishing you the very best young lady and if you feel better taking the vitamins, go for it. If you don't feel any better, forget them and save yourself a lot of money. Being a female, your biggest concern should be calcium and Vitamin D, which you can get drinking milk. The headaches could be coming from other things, for instance birth control pills. My wife took them and got the worst headaches of her life until she changed brands, then finally just got off of them. Maybe you need to sit down and think over what all you are taking, eating, drinking and change some of those habits one at a time, you might be surprised at what you come up with. Stress is another headache maker, and so many more to numerous to mention. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Possible, but doubtful. Most expiration dates are just indicators for "freshness". However, the content of the multivitamin could be. Certain mineral content, like copper, iron...etc, affects different people in different ways. For example, if you have excessive iron naturally and you take a multivitamin with iron, you could be over dosing and your body reacts with a headache. I suggest quit taking your multivitamin and start drinking distilled water. Drink at least 60 oz a day for a week. Do not drink any caffeine during that time. You may suffer from caffeine withdrawals for about 3 days. The distilled water will flush out residual chemical and toxins. A good restorative balance, is Waddle Juice. 64 oz 100% grape with 8 oz of apple cider vinegar. Mix in a little honey taste and 3 oz of liquid pectin( Certo at the grocery store in canning area) Stir, refrigerate and drink 1 1/2 oz three times a day, every day.

Good luck!Health Question & Answer
