PLEASE help! I have a really bad stuffy nose!?!

Afrin can be addicting so be careful. You can try using steam. Heat a pot of water, when it boils, take it off the stove, lean over it with a towel draped over your head and breath in the steam (don't burn yourself). Use those nasal strips at night and a humidifier. The nasal strips will open the passage way so that you can breathe and the humidifier will add water to the air which could be making your runny nose worse. also I would try and sleep propped up so that your nose can drain at night. Another thing that you should do is put Viks on your feet twice daily and always wear socks. It sound gross but it works for things such as cough, runny nose, congestion, and sore throat. If it is caused by allergies talk to your doctor because you could need a different prescription if you have one already. I swear by those little Vicks inhalers...you know... the little tube thingy that you put in your nostril and sniff the vapors. opens your stuffy nose right up... and the best thing about it is, it contains no medicine. Hope you feel better soon!!Health Question & Answer
