I hit my head on the tv in my class while I was getting up, and it left a bump. I've been icing it ever since I came home from school yesterday. How long would it take for it to go away with just ice.?Health Question & Answer

It will vary bump to bump. The effectiveness of ice is generally at it's maximum within the first couple of hours of injury, but intermittent icing won't do it any harm if you feel you are getting benefit from it.
Generally the swelling should subside around day two and, again, depending on severity, the bump should be more or less gone between days 4 and 5. If there is any discolouration/bruising in the area that may take a couple more days to go away.
It sounds like it was just a bump, but be vigilant for any nausea, ringing in your ears, blurred vision, drowsiness or slurred speech as these can indicate a concussion. Have you shown it to your mum or dad.? If it's not serious, it will take a couple of days. Be sure to see a doctor immediately if you develop blurred vision, slurred speech or severe headaches or sudden nose bleeds without any reason, as you may be developing concussion.
