Last night was the worst night of my life. I picked up my son he is 32 years of age and is a recovering acholic. So last night I picked him up at his house to take him to this football game. it was in our town against the 2 schools. He used to coached them years ago. Anyways the team he wanted to win lost. He became so mad. He was saying things and yelling at me all the way home to his house. Then when I was almost there to drop him off I told him he needed help. I said lets go to your friends house and talk to him to clam you down. then that's when things got bad. He pushed my leg down to the floor when I was driving. Then he took a hold of the steering wheel. and the car swerved and hit the curb thank God for that and we squealed tires and all. car swears all over the road. lucky me. He then got out and ran home. I went to his friends house and woke him and his wife up were his friend went to talk to him bad idea for me to do this but I was hurting inside. now I want to go to the place he was at for a month what would you do if this happened to you thanks for listening and being kind todayHealth Question & Answer

You poor thing. It is so awful to watch a loved one self-destructing. You mentioned a place he was at for a month - was it a rehab facility.? Maybe he needs to go back for a while. It is scary that he tried to take control of the car, so dangerous. Do you know of an Al-Anon meeting near you.? AA is in the phonebook and they should be able to give you some guidance. Your son is 32 if he still unable to respect you as his mom why bother. This is unbelievable what ungrateful son you have. Health Question & Answer
