Question: I broke my collar bone...?

see i broke my collar bone a week ago in a football game and it hurts like ****. i was wondering if someone that has also broken there's sometime has any advice how to take care of it.?

Yeah, I broke mine in a motorcycle wreck once, along with about 10 ribs. Just do as little as possible with the affected arm. It's gonna be sore as **** till the bone mends, so don't do any unnecessary movement at all until you begin physical therapy and don't pull your brace off unless you have to. I'm right handed and broke my right shoulder, hope you were luckier than that. It sux having to learn to do everything with your wrong hand.Health Question & Answer
