Insect bite on leg [Pics]?!
Question: Insect bite on leg [Pics].?
Hi, I have a really painful red 'spot' on my leg, with a slightly lighter red 'lump' surrounding it. I asked about this earlier, and I had to answers saying it looks like a spider bite and one said if it gets worse see a doctor, and the other said see a doctor ASAP. Just wondering what anyone else thinks.? It's also rather warm to touch.

Since last night the swelling has gone down slightly, but the redness around it has enlarged to the size of around a fist. It's still very sore to touch, I've took another picture here:

looks like it could be a mosquito bite that you had an allergic reaction to -but im not 100% sure. what i would say is if you have tried bite cream and it hasnt worked then see a doctor. if you havent tried bite cream i would suggest you try that first.
go to the pharmacy and show them and they will either reccomend some cream or sumit for it or tell you to see a doctor!
may i also reccomend u shave your legs lol they r too hairy!

I was bitten the other week after a BBQ in th garden. I don't know what bit me but it was on the inside of my leg and didn't go away for about 2 weeks.
I used an antihistimine cream from the chemist and it calmed down.
See your doctor if it gets worse or becomes infected.
Mine looked a very funny colour and had a large ring around the bite. Have no idea what it could have been but I obviousley reacted to it!Health Question & Answer

If you are still concerned, go and see a pharmacist - they can advise you and, provided the redness is not a sign of an infection, sell you some antihistamine cream

Well whatever it is it is going down really quickly.I had something like that last month ago on my arm.It was sore and really annoying but after a few days it went down until it was gone.So I say give a week and if it doesn't heal by then go see a doctor or maybe a skin specialist!!!Hope my advice helps!!! i think you were bitten by an eskimo
they are very pastey people and when they bite you, you go pastey as well
this may be the cause for your lack of skin colour
