How can i get rid of indigestion for good ?!


Question: How can i get rid of indigestion for good .?
i have been suffering with indigestion for about a year now and it feels horrible my mum and family say dont eat late and i dont anymore and it diddent make any difference . Some days i get it at a bad time and even though i havent eaten for example at a bbq. I always get told to drink a glass of milk and it maby works for about 10 mins but that doesnt work :(Health Question & Answer

As you have been suffering from indigestion for a year I think it's time to see your Doctor. The main reason I suggest this, is by ignoring it you may be setting yourself up for such things as gastric or duodenal ulcers or chronic oesophagitis. Believe me, you don't want the latter.

You will need to look at your life style. Some foods are known to cause indigestion. High fat content foods for example; very sweet foods, and highly spiced or acidic foods will irritate it. Allergies to foods can cause problems too. There are so many causes they are too long to list. Your Doc will advise you to keep a list of food you eat and to note which causes indigestion and then avoid those which give you indigestion.

Try Rennies, Gaviscon or some other antacid medicine until you have seen your Doctor. I did what you are doing, leaving it and I have all sorts of long term problems now, so, go to the Doc's - he is the expert.

well a lot of times if you take to meny tums or roll aids thinking to avoid the late night problems you might be causing it try taking a tablespoon of vinegar twice a day to add to the acid in your stomach instead of killing to so your food will diegeast easyer may just help solve your problem Health Question & Answer

Get more green things into your stomach. Like spinach leaves, salad greens. Cucumber is one of my favorites to cure stomach acid. Cucumber is very alkaline and will cancel out the acid from other foods. I just strip half of a cucumber and eat it like a carrot.Health Question & Answer
