Question: IS wearing contact lenses a mistake.?
I am 13 and I want to put contact lenses. Do u think its going to be ok if I have them.?.? Will they hurt my eyes or would they cause any problems.? Can u give me some contact lense tips like can I sleep with them and stuff like that.?

It's probably ok for your eyes. I started wearing contacts when I was around 13. Talk to your parents and your eye doctor.
Whether you can sleep in them depends on the contacts. Some you have to take out at night, some you can wear for an entire week then throw them out. It depends on the kind.Health Question & Answer

You can do permanent eye damage with contact lenses and you are better off without them.

Best advice I can give is don't leave them in longer than recommended. My daughter wore hers all the time, and now she can't wear them. She wears glasses because the contacts damaged her eyes. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
as long as u dont sleep with them u r fine...if u sleep wit them u can get an infection which wont let u look in2 the lite b/c it will burn ur eyesHealth Question & Answer
