Question: I'm starting an Adult Nursing Uni course next March....?
and I know that the UK are actually over-employed with nurses so would like to know which other countries need them.
Help.?
I'd love to go to Australia and maybe move there so would this be a good move.?

In Australia, more nurses are always needed. There are always jobs available. It's almost always on the news that we need more nurses, well Melbourne anyways. There are heaps of nursing positions in rural areas too.
Just be wary if your degree of nursing in UK is accepted here in Australia so that if you do get a chance to travel, you can start working straight away. I'm guessing it should be but ask your mentor just to be sure. As far I can tell, Melbourne Australia and rural Australia needs much more nurses.

Im currently doing adult nursing and weve been given loads of advice where to go...if your on the diploma program where you can go is very limited and would be very subject to experience and references from what we were told.
..but if your on the degree program australia is very good for nursing...but america is excellent too as nurses there have alot more responsiblity but depending where you go it can also be very full on as from talking to a nurse from america she used to work in new york,,and as you can imagine she said its alot of trauma. There is also great opportunities in dubai and Egypt too they like to take nurses from britain and they pay very very well. When your in your 2nd year and you do your elective choose somewhere abroad so you can get a taste of it. You have three years to think about it and there is so many different areas u can work at example cardio or a&e but dont think about that now just enjoy ur course.
