I have been in the ER for 40yrs and have HAD concussion more than once. I never had a fever with a concussion. I can't say that I have ever seen a patient with a concussion have fever, either. I've googled the web and do not see fever as one of the signs/symptoms of concussion. IF you had fever and head symptoms, I'd say to high-tail it to the ER.Health Question & Answer
My daughter had concussion when she was 6 and fell off a wall in school. I brought her to the a&e where she was vomiting severley for a couple of hours. She was allowed home that night and no she didnt have a fever. I don't think one would have a fever with concussion.Health Question & Answer
