I got some pain killers from my doctor awhile back but they don't appear to be helping too much. Is it possible or legal for the doctor to have given me placebos.?Health Question & Answer

Yes it is possible. There was a case in Butte, Montana, where a woman was making return visits to the emergency room complaining of pain. They started to think she was faking to get the pain medication. They started giving her placebos instead of the real thing.
