Question: How long for bruises to show up.?

I was just wondering, how long does it usually take for bruises to show up.? After the hit that would cause it.

also, what spots of the body bruise easier then others.? Is it possible to bruise a bone.?

And finally, what will a bruise look like at first.? Will it look red.? Or instantly go blue/black or purple or w/e.?

also, I got in a fight awhile ago (yesterday night) and was wondering will my knuckles bruise.? They aren't bruised yet but they are still red, and swollen and they hurt alot (also the spot under my knuckles)

Answers:

It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days for a bruise to show. If you get a deep bruise the blood seeps down and eventually shows through the skin. It can start red or purple and then turns greenish then yellow before fading.

Knuckles won't bruise because there is too much blood flow.
