Edit- I got this from Wiki
Side effects
Side effects for Vicodin include an allergic reaction, seizures, clammy skin, severe weakness, dizziness, hyperventilation, unconsciousness, jaundice (yellowing of eyes or skin), unusual fatigue, bleeding, bruising, stomach pain,[3] constipation, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, muscle twitches, sweating, hot flashes, itching, tinnitus, hearing loss, decreased urination, and decreased sex drive.[4] Vicodin (in terms of hydrocodone) also has depressant effects on the central nervous system.[5] However, some of the less mundane effects can be desirable effects that are sought after by some. Those effects include euphoria and drowsiness, as well as slowing of the pulse.[6] Vicodin may also be a cause of stomach ulcers, although this is assumed to be due to the addition of other non-narcotic analgesics to hydrocodone preparations (e.g., aspirin, and ibuprofen). Paracetamol does not cause ulcers, unlike NSAIDS, but has a severe liver toxicity as of 8g per day or even 4g with renal insufficiency

So far its a valid side effect but I'm concerned about the 48 hours of vomiting....

opiates have a tendency to induce nausea as well as some other mild symptoms in some people, just eat something soothing to the stomach, or stick it out, it will wear off once the vicodin does.Health Question & Answer

Yeah, that stuff makes me feel like sh*t. I had some a month or two ago for some oral surgery.... first day was fine, but by day two I felt really lousy. Don't remember if I threw up or not, but I remember I felt like I was going to...

I don't see how anyone could get hooked on it!

Good move with the chocolate! VERY FUNNY!!! :-DHealth Question & Answer

That sucks that they are making you that sick. I take them for my knee issues and have been on them for about 10 years (7 knee surgeries later). Every now and again I get nauseous from them. I find that eating before taking them and a little while after taking them helps keep my stomach from being less upset. Make sure it's something of sustenance. Are you itchy.? That is another sign of an allergic reaction. Might want to make the call to the Doctor, that is a VERY long time to be sick. Hope you stop getting sick and stay pain free. Make sure to stay hydrated especially after all that vomiting.

Could I borrow you for my friends neighbor - LIL. She is having a hell of a time with a psycho.Health Question & Answer
