My knees hurt when I run.?!
Question: My knees hurt when I run..?
So, a little history on myself first.
I was on the national swim team from 1978-1983. I then played semi professional rugby for 6 years until 1989. After that I got into body building and competed semi pro until 2003. I took several different types of steroids for each sport hoping to become better and faster than the rest of my competetors which is completely normal in sports. (Steroids are in every sport at every level). So, now I have decided to start training for marathons as it seems to be an interesting way to spend a day. Yesterday after a 15 mile run my knees were purple and sore to touch. today they are inflamed and i can't bend them very well. Is this just my old age getting to me (I'm 51) or is from my mis use of steroids for 2.5 decades.? PLease help me out guys.Health Question & Answer

I would ask a doctor but im sure you know that running is hard on your knees..basically why i don't like to run. I hope this helps :)Health Question & Answer
Steriods aren't good for your joints, they make them more sensitive.Health Question & Answer
