Do I have a malpractice suit against the doctor?!

Question: Do I have a malpractice suit against the doctor.?
My wife just gave birth to our child (vaginal delivery) and her OBGYN sewed her up in a way that makes it pretty painful and somewhat difficult to have sex. also since giving birth, when she goes to the bathroom (number 2) she has a large amount of blood and it's pretty painful. When she spoke to her OBGYN, she told her it wasn't too big of a deal and gave her some numbing cream to help ease the pain until her vagina could be stretched out. She said there is nothing that can be done about the bleeding, it will be that way forever. Do you think this was a big mistake the doctor made or is this not a big deal.? Any ideas.?Health Question & Answer

I think you should go to another obgyn and have them do an exam because the doctor could have made a mistake.Health Question & Answer

I teach law. Many women have long-lasting problems after childbirth when it comes to pain, going to the bathroom, etc. Sex can also be painful for a lengthy period. Suggestion: Purchase a sitz bath, and have her use it several times daily to comfort her sore rectum. Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a case here, but God Bless on your little one!Health Question & Answer
