Question: I have a wound that won't heal...what could be wrong.?
I got blisters in-between my toes from flip flops back in July. Both of the blisters popped accidentally. My left foot healed normally, but my right foot still has the left over wound! It will heal and dry up, but then crack open and peel again over and over. Now, it's leaking sticky clear fluid and is definitely infected. What are some home remedies I can do to help it heal.? Are there any serious health issues that could be causing this.?
Please don't just answer by telling my I have to go to the doctor, because my health insurance doesn't start until December and I honestly can't afford it unless it's a life or death situation. I would just like to know some ways to speed up the healing, and also maybe some reasons why it may not be healing because this has never happened to me before.

Answers:
Bactroban works best but you need a script for it. I know this sounds crazy but try an antifungal cream (athlete's foot). You could now have a fungus and this could help. Health Question & Answer
Keep your foot clean and dry. Imperative! If you can get some, put Bactroban ointment on it.
When you get your insurance, go to the doctor at once.
