Question: I have an earring in my ear that won't come out. Any tricks that will make it.?
I have a stud in one of the holes in my ear that will not come out. Its a standard steralised stud from the pharmacist. The clasp at the back is stuck on the last indent of the post. How can I make it come off.? I've tried vaseline but its not making it budge. The hole is starting to hurt..Health Question & Answer
Answers:
To get a stuck earring back off, after washing it well with warm water and soap, rinse well, then double glove with nitrile exam gloves to get a firm grip. The back should rotate around the post, then squeeze it a bit tighter so it slides out of the notch, toward your ear. Now it should be able to slide back away from your ear, and if you make a quick and smooth movement it should come completely off. Support the post so it does not slide out of your piercing.

the only thing i can think of right now is some warm mustard oil. mstard oil has high viscosity & warming it will provide both relief & comfort along with 'expanding' the metal.
