i've been suffering from severe shooting/stabbing pains in my left ear.
i went the doctors. he checked everything.. throat etc.. everything was fine.
got a second opinion.. everything is fine..
i'm crying with the pain here.? surely it can't be "nothing".?!.?!!.?

It would have been very useful if you had included a timescale for your problem, and any past medical history might also have been useful.
It is actually quite difficult for a dentist to absolutely exclude dental pain, however severe the pain is. Other possibilities include some form of neuralgia. If this is a persistent problem it will need further investigation which would include scanning.Health Question & Answer
