Question: Is it normal to throw up after surgery.?
i had an ovarian cyst taken out on tuesday, its thursday morning right now. the pain killers i've been taking make me really dizzy and nauseous.
anyways, i just threw up twice and i can't remember is the nurse said it was normal or if she said i should call the hospital if i do..

Normal - it is most likely the pain killers you are on - try something milder to see if that helps the vomiting and still controls your pain. If no improvement consult your dr. Make sure you keep taking plenty of fluids if you don't feel able to eatHealth Question & Answer
I think it's normal. back in May i had an ovarian cyst taken out even though im 16 and the pills i was given did the same thing to me, it was because of this i stopped taking them. check with you GP anyway i suggest Health Question & Answer
