Shaving-cut won't stop bleeding?!

Question: Shaving-cut won't stop bleeding.?
Well, I cut my ankle shaving yesterday. And it was bleeding a LOT, literally dripping onto the floor.

But it was small enough to be covered with a bandage, so I did that, but when I removed the bandage just now, fresh blood is still gathering.?

I've never had a shaving cut bleed for this long, is it normal for it to be bleeding just as much as it was yesterday.? How do I get it to stop.?Health Question & Answer

Well, there is the possibility of a scab forming then when you removed the bandaid, it opened again. If it's on you ankle it's likely that you obviously walked much today and that could have opened it again too. If you have your period, you tend to bleed more than normal. If any of those things don't apply to you, I suggest you go to a doctor for professional help. (But for now, I simply suggest washing it off and putting a fresh bandaid on it.)Health Question & Answer

it means you are having a blood clotting problem..which can be something as simple as lack of iron.. or can be a much more serious condition with your body not being able to clot properly. The most you can do for this case is hold a LOT of pressure against the wound and dont let go for about 20 minutes.. should stop..if it doesnt.. i would contact a doctor because you may have a much more serious medical underlying issue.Health Question & Answer

Yeah it's normal.
First elevate your foot.
Put a little gauze or scrunched up toilet paper and press it on the wound and it'll stop bleeding.
It's probably bleeding again because you opened up the wound again.
Ankle cuts bleed a lot because you walk on them and they're easy to re-open.Health Question & Answer

Either you cut deep or just in a bad spot. Keep pressure on it and put a little antibiotic ointment on so it won't get infected. Shaving cuts happen ALL the time and it's nothing to worry about.Health Question & Answer

When I cut myself, I just get some tissue paper and hold it on the cut while i'm watching some tv....if you press hard enough, it seems to stop for a while....tho mens blood clots quicker than girls so it may take a whileHealth Question & Answer

yes it might be normal as long as there is not a large amount of blood. Like pints full. You should clean it with an antibotic cream or liquid then apply pressure on it and then a bandaid on it tightly
