Question: Me being stupid, stabbed myself with a pencil...graffite is stuck!.?
Okay first sry I haven't answered questions in a while and only been asking but the other day i was flipping around with my pencil and stbabed my hand with the point and my hand was bleeding. There is some graffite still stuck in there and me and my mom tried to get it out with everything! pins, tweezers etc! we went past the skin. Now we might see the doctor. Tell me what am I up against with graffite stuck in my hand and what is a good way to get it out.?.?

i once 'accidentally' through a pencil and it landed in the back of my brother's hand. after nearly ten years nothing bad came out of it, although, you can still see the grey mark in his hand XD i laugh at it everytime i see it :D

Health Question & Answer

Graphite, graphite, graphite, graphite.

Unless there is actually a large piece of the pencil "lead" in there, they probably won't do much of anything ... unless you were using the pencil "lead" to pick you ears or it was "dirty" in any way. They might give you a tetanus shot just to be safe (if you aren't up to date). Graphite is harmess for the most part ... just carbon black. At most, you will end of with a tiny, little, black dot tattoo.Health Question & Answer

Very interesting question, because I had a piece of graphite from a pencil stuck in my palm since (gasp) 1963 (goofing around in school) and nothing bad ever came of it. Still in there, as far as I know. Health Question & Answer

No permanent damage other than a grey mark underneath the skin. My husband has lived with this for 30+ years without sequela (bad results). I personally had this happen when in junior high and still have the mark and its been 20+ years. Health Question & Answer

hehe. its fine to leave in, honestly. have a few marks like that. will heal over and eventually look like a blue freckle. don't worry, it's not poisonous or anything. Health Question & Answer
