Question: Oxycodone and alcohol interactions.?
I recently burned my hands pretty severely, so I'm taking Oxycodone (5 mg) as a pain reliever. The last pill I took was about two hours ago. also, I have an exam later today, and I was freaking out, so I took a single shot of brandy about an hour ago to calm my nerves. Now, I'm feeling a bit dizzy and disoriented. Did I do something bad.?Health Question & Answer

Im on Norcos(10mg.Hydrocodone)and I actually had a drink last night,bad idea because I threw up this morning.Im not lecturing you but that's what happens when you mix the two,probably because what we are taking is a rather strong pain medication.I usually can drink a little alcohol while taking this med.but not last night.Your just having a bit of a interaction.You will be ok!Health Question & Answer
You should never mix pain medication with alcohol. Always read the directions on your prescription bottle. There is probably a little yellow sticker that tells you not to drink while taking the medication right on the bottle.Health Question & Answer
