Feeling numb after rejection?!
Question: Feeling numb after rejection.?
i recently told the girl i was in love with, that liked her. She told me that she didn't have the same feelings for me but that i was a really great freind.
The first couple of days after that i was a little upset but remained as her good freind.
But now i don't feel anything, only a sting in the heart sometimes or jealousy when she talks to some guys ( not that i feel jealous all the time)
Anyone know what this means.?

It may mean you haven't gotten over her (you probably wont, at least till you find someone/something else to draw the same energy from).
Don't blame yourself for feeling jealous, for a few days. The feeling goes away as your mind/heart finds someone/something else to focus on.
If you'd like to rid of the feeling (or any associated guilt), take up an activity that consumes the time you used to hang around/with her. Any activity (walking/running/reading) that gives you time to enjoy with yourself would work.

I think you do love her. It happens alot, loving someone who doesn't love you back. I think you are an exceptional person, you are handling it very well. Be her friend if it doesn't hurt you, hinder you, from meeting others. If it is too painful for you, move on. You were not destined to spend your life in that kind of relationship with her, this lifetime, or at this time. Maybe in another lifetime you did share love with her, and your soul recognized her. But it is not to be, again. you have different paths this lifetime.
That is why you feel it in your heart, like you do.
also remember, love causes chemical reactions in the brain and throughout the body; and end of love eliminates those chemicals.
You will come down from the euphoria of love. So I hope you find love again, soon.
But please time is short, there are not many lifetimes left, if any.

Yes Rasmus, it means that you've been rejected and that you can't take it. What's with this "numb" thing you've thrown at us.? You should have defined that comment.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Find another girl. The world is full of them. And don't tell me that what I've suggested is easier said than done.
