Question: Care for my hurt knee.?
during taekwondo i hurt my knee while sparing. when walk it feels normal, but when i walk up stares the extra pressure makes it hurt.

i don't think its a torn ligament or tendon, because i heard that would hurt like hell. its like an annoying pain.

any tips on how to take care of it. i'm play basketball monday and i can't have my knee bothering me.

also any tips on how to strengthen my knees. i don't want to be considerd a handicap by my coaches and masters

Answers:
Try, when you are relaxing at home, Icing it like Ice Packs or even Heat.

Find a brace, maybe that would help with the tension.

For strengthening your knees, my doctor told me you have to tighten the muscles that are connected to your knee caps.

So try straight leg raises, when your laying down. Or squats.

Then after Monday, try going to the doctors.
