okay so nows it been 5 days and i still get sharp pain if i sit or lay down or turn a certain way. standing doesnt hurt just everything else. in school all last week i had to move around and turn in desk because its so painful.I've been using heating pads and iboprofen but its still really bad.
Should I be doing something else.?

Answers:
Sprains, strains, blown disks, fractures, and muscle spasms can all cause back pain. Sounds like you have tried the home remedy routine. Now it's time to go to the doctor. I have enclosed a couple really helpful web sites that may be able to help you decide where and what exactly may be hurting. Sometimes a PT can make matters worse instead of better. It just happens, not necessarily a bad therapist. The symptoms of standing OK and every other position hurts reminds me of piriformis muscle spasm. Good luck. Health Question & Answer

i think that your back pain could be because of your shoulder. i am a competitive swimme and once at practice my arm got stuck in the lane line and was pulled out of my socket. i was in severe pain so i got out of the pool aas best i could and my coach did what looked to be a hug but actually popped my shoulder back into its socket. it turned out the she hadnt doen it right and before i went to the doctor the next week i had terrible back pian.Health Question & Answer
