I had whiplash about 2 years ago, and I initially had a lot of neck and shoulder pain, couldn't turn my head too much, and bending down hurt a lot. Any sort of jolt or anything hurt too.
Nowadays, it only comes back a little if I have been standing for a long time, or whether I twist my neck too much.
