How long does Percocet stay in your body?!
Question: How long does Percocet stay in your body.?
My wife was prescribed generic Percocet to take after her tonsilectomy. It's been helping with the pain but she feels like garbage when she's on it. She's been experiencing coldness, paranoia, racing thoughts, etc. She's been taking it for 5 days now and wants to stop. How long will it take for it all to get out of her system and for her to start feeling normal again.?Health Question & Answer

well definitely call the doctor first so they can tell you how she can lower it and stop it....
but if its only for 5 days it should be to much of a difference with any with drawl symptoms ... and another thing is as soon as that last pill she took, it will be about 4-5 hours for it to runs its course and that's it....she shouldn't feel that way if she doesn't take anymore...
b/c yeah it can be detected in her system that she has taken it but not the amount as when she first takes the medication....therefore she should feel better as long as she doesn't take it....hope i helped...Health Question & Answer

normally takes 3 days to get it all out but 8 hrs after taking it she shouldnt be having the side effects. i take percocet 6 times a day and have for 3 yrs. some people it works for, some it doesn't.Health Question & Answer
I would slowly taper off this medication. Because of how long she has been taking it. But as far as it getting out of her system, about 6 hours is its time life.Health Question & Answer
